Humtap Technology

Humtap has developed proprietary and patented software that replaces the entire process of making original music, without the need for any hardware. Our technology produces music in any style or genre – from rock to electro, hip-hop, pop, country, Bollywood, etc. 

With our technology, what takes professional musicians and recording engineers hours and days to produce music can now be compressed into a few seconds. The only input required is any voice, whether a simple human original hum (melody) or street noise tap (beat); hence the name Humtap. This is based on our team’s 100,000+ hours of R&D in music information retrieval (MIR), artificial intelligence (AI), algorithmic composition, and digital/audio signal processing (DSP). 

Humtap’s technology replaces original, professional music production from the initial musical thought process to song writing, composition, orchestration, performance, recording, mixing and mastering. It offers several consumer and industry applications, from real-time interactive music for virtual and augmented reality (VR), to enhanced music discovery and user musical taste analytics for streaming services, and first of its kind artist-fan collaboration, among others.
